The attention to detail you will find in this NZ built 18m Wavecrusher 58 launch will take your breath away!
If you are looking for a serious sports fishing vessel that can also entertain all onboard in style then this is it!
Launched in December 2001 this lovely lady was designed to extreme limits while still keeping comfortable, economical passage making in mind. The expansive cockpit is suited to the more serious sports fisherman or active divers (and or after hours entertaining!) featuring a aft island bait station, pop up BBQ, huge aft lazarette and twin transom winches for anchoring or retrieving larger game fish. The cockpit helm station holds bow thruster controls, GPS, VHF, engine throttles with auto pilot, and is ideally located for manoeuvring or playing that special fish. Access to the enclosed flybridge is via a spiral staircase where you will find her main helm station well-appointed with dual Furuno radar & sounder, and Garmin XSV GPS, VHF, bow thruster controls and entertainment system. Comfortable seating, drinks fridge, shade for her aft deck and ventilation from electric windows behind and overhead, all invite one to linger for sunset cocktails.
Powered by twin MAN 500hp diesels, with only 1570 hours on the clock, she can cruise at an economical 17 knots to a sprint of 22 knots. Her construction in ply composite heavily laminated with epoxy and fibreglass with Wave Crusher Boats receiving the BIA NZ Mark of Excellence Certification. Another example of the outstanding handcrafted workmanship throughout is the American silver ash and teak joinery providing continuous relief and well balanced contrasts.
Access to the saloon is through large double doors giving a seamless flow from her forward cockpit island station, which holds a further freezer and separate fridge making entertaining a breeze, to the elegant eight-seater dinette with large table, slide out drawers, cocktail cabinet, and embossed stainless counter tops. The full size galley awaits opposite with an abundance of storage, large fridge and separate 4 drawer freezer, convection microwave, large 4 burner stove and oven and plenty of bench space available upon which one can comfortably prepare the catch of the day.
Accommodation across 3 cabins can sleep six in comfort. Her master stateroom offers an island double, ample stowage surrounds, with full size ensuite. The port guest cabin has two large single berths offering good volume with dedicated lockers adjacent and beneath. Opposite is a further guest cabin with a double and stowage space finally another double can also be made up in the saloon if needed.
This one owner vessel deserves your inspection and for those discerning purchasers her prime 18m Whitianga Marina berth is also available so you can be situated in the jewel of the Coromandel Peninsula.
